Storing bread with the myromy bread freshness pot

SIMPLY ENJOY LONGER.

Made from Westerwald clay, the myromy bread freshness pot keeps bread uniquely fresh.

The velvety, open-pore ceramic inside the lid creates a self-regulating climate in which crusts and crumbs can be stored fresh from the bakery. Potatoes also love this natural, dark environment. The design combines functional naturalness with stylish utility—and is suitable not only for all types of baked goods, but also for naturally extending the shelf life of stored vegetables such as onions and garlic.

At myromy, everything is 100% genuine – see for yourself.

Experiences with myromy ceramics

We asked our community and loyal users for honest feedback – on myromy and their experiences with our Westerwald ceramics.

Pretty enough for the kitchen. Practical for everyday use.

I didn't want a bread bin that you'd rather hide away.

The myromy bread freshness pot combines exactly what I was looking for: a beautiful shape, Westerwald ceramics, and a well-thought-out storage solution for bread and rolls.

It's proudly displayed in our kitchen and used every day.

From braided yeast bread to pasta al forno.

The bread-fresh pot has become a permanent fixture in our kitchen.

I particularly like that bread and rolls are stored protected in it and the open-pored ceramic supports moisture exchange.

Then there's the design: The pot looks so good that it just stays on our countertop.

Good bread deserves good storage.

Anyone who bakes a lot of bread will eventually also consider how to store it well afterward.

What I particularly like about the myromy bread freshness pot is the combination of open-pored Westerwald natural clay, ventilation, and generous space for bread and rolls.

A beautiful combination of ceramic craftsmanship and functional bread storage.

Always fresh bread.

Natural freshness with a system.

Finely tuned ventilation openings ensure constant air circulation inside. The natural ceramic lid absorbs excess moisture from the interior and slowly releases it as needed. This creates an exceptionally bread- and food-friendly microclimate.

In this balanced storage space, baked goods and food are optimally protected from drying out – and mold growth is naturally counteracted. All without effort.

This way, your bread stays moist for longer, the crust crispy – and every bite is a real taste experience.

With anti-waterlogging effect.

The slightly raised inner surface, structured with ceramic ridges, counteracts the formation of waterlogging. The raised dots ensure ventilation, resulting in a pleasantly textured crust and crumb.

On the iconic relief , bread, potatoes, and onions lie and breathe freely, releasing excess moisture and absorbing it again when needed.

The crust stays crispy, the vegetables fresh –
The storage area is a naturally air-conditioned room – functionally well thought out, aesthetically integrated.

Perfectly formed. Original. Handcrafted.

The Bread Freshness Pot combines clear, timeless design with craftsmanship and historical roots – consciously sensual, natural, and free from harmful substances.

The idea of storing bread in clay vessels is not a trend, but rather ancient: Over 6,000 years ago, people in Egypt stored their bread and leftover, fresh dough in clay vessels – a tried-and-tested and gentle storage method that preserves flavors and makes the bread last longer.

Crafted from the particularly soft "white gold" of the Westerwald region, each pot is handcrafted in Germany—free from harmful substances and plastics, smooth yet velvety. It combines responsibility, durability, and a natural aesthetic that grows with every use.

There's a lid for every pot.

We take this saying quite literally: After surface treatment, each myromy receives its own lid, with which it is "married" in the final firing.

This ensures a perfect fit between the lid and pot, and we finish our product with the highest level of craftsmanship. This may also mean that the lid of your pot doesn't sit perfectly flush in every position after being placed on it. If this is the case, simply rotate it 180°.
