The Brick BBQ is equipped with aroma studs. These promote more intense browning and strong roasted aromas β ideal for savory oven and grilled dishes.
If you particularly enjoy baking bread, we recommend the Brick Classic. If strong roasted aromas and hearty dishes are your focus, the Brick BBQ is the more suitable choice.
Is the bread crock glazed on the inside?
Yes, the interior surface of the bread crock is glazed. This makes it particularly easy to clean and gives it a pleasant smooth feel. The inside of the lid remains deliberately open-pored. It supports the natural regulation of moisture and thus contributes to a balanced climate inside the crock.
What's the difference between the Signature Edition and the color-glazed variants?
Functionally, both versions offer the same proven properties. The difference lies primarily in the surface and manufacturing process.
With the Signature Edition, the natural clay surface remains visible on the outside. The colored glazed versions additionally receive a glaze and are fired again in an additional work step.
The slightly higher price of the glazed versions results from this more elaborate finishing. This way, you can choose the version that best suits your style and home.

Application & Baking
Whether it's the oven, microwave, or bread baking: This section is about the correct use of your myromy heat-resistant ceramic and practical tips for great results.
Can I put my myromy product directly from the fridge into the preheated oven?
Yes, our myromy heat-resistant ceramic is particularly resistant to temperature changes and can generally be placed directly from the refrigerator into a preheated oven. This allows you to proof your bread dough overnight directly in the Brick, for example, and bake it the next morning without transferring.
For the gentlest possible transition, we recommend letting the product stand at room temperature briefly during preheating. The ceramic must not be heated directly from the freezer. Also, avoid adding cold liquids to an already very hot product.
Are our myromy products suitable for the stove or hob?
Our myromy heat-resistant ceramic, which is designed for this purpose, can be used over an open flame, for example, on a gas stove.
Our current products are not suitable for ceramic, glass-ceramic, and electric hobs, nor for induction hobs. These hobs transfer heat differently than an open flame and can heat the bottom of the ceramic very directly or unevenly. In the case of induction, conventional ceramic cannot absorb the electromagnetic field.
We are already working on a suitable solution for induction hobs. However, until an explicit product release, the currently available myromy products are not suitable for induction.
Please always observe the application instructions for the respective product. For many dishes, preparation in the oven is particularly suitable.
Can I use my myromy product in the microwave?
Our myromy heat-retaining ceramic is suitable for microwave use. This includes the Brick Classic, the Brick BBQ, the Multi-Roaster & Bread Baking Dish, the Plancha BBQ, and the Casserole and Baking Dish.
It is best to heat your food gently and avoid abrupt heating at maximum power as well as large temperature differences.
The Bread Freshness Pot is exclusively for storage and must not be used in the microwave.
How do I prevent bread from sticking to the Immyromy Brick or the bread pan?
For firm and easily shapeable bread doughs, it is usually sufficient to lightly grease or flour the Brick Classic or the smooth bread baking mold.
If your dough is very soft, sticky or particularly high in water content, we recommend baking paper as a liner. This makes it easier to place the dough and remove the bread after baking. Then let the bread cool down briefly before carefully removing it from the mold.
Why didn't my bread rise properly in the Brick Classic or Multi-Roaster?
If your bread rises less than expected, one reason could be the baking start. For a stronger oven spring, we recommend preheating the Brick Classic or Multi-Roaster in the oven, then carefully placing the prepared dough inside and closing the lid immediately.
The stored heat helps the dough develop well at the beginning of baking. The proofing time, dough consistency, and the recipe used can also influence the result.
You can find suitable bread recipes and coordinated preparation instructions in our recipe section.
How much bread dough is the Brick Classic suitable for?
The Brick Classic is designed for approximately 500 g of prepared bread dough. This figure refers to the total weight of the already mixed dough β not the amount of flour used or the weight of the finished baked bread.
With this quantity, the dough has sufficient space in the Brick Classic to develop well during baking. For very soft, sticky, or highly hydrated doughs, we also recommend using baking paper as a liner.
Can I use the lid of the Brick separately?
Yes, you can also use the lid of the Brick separately as a small casserole or baking dish. It is particularly suitable for smaller oven dishes, vegetables, gratins, feta, side dishes, or for gratinating.
For dishes with a lot of liquid or a bit more height, we recommend the base of the Brick. This way, the Brick provides you with two versatile ceramic dishes at once.
Keeping bread fresh
For bread and baked goods to stay fresh as long as possible, the correct use and suitable location of the bread fresh-keeping pot are crucial.
How do I use the bread storage pot correctly?
Place your bread or baked goods directly and as loosely as possible into the bread freshness pot and then close the lid. This allows the natural microclimate to form inside, which balances moisture and helps to keep the bread fresh for longer.
Whole loaves of bread are particularly suitable as they have less cut surface area. You can also place very fresh or moist bread in a clean linen cloth. Avoid stacking baked goods so that air can continue to circulate well.
Place the bread freshness pot in a dry, well-ventilated place β not in a cupboard or refrigerator. In case of high humidity or very fresh bread, it helps to occasionally open the pot briefly.
The bread freshness pot is intended exclusively for storage and may not be used for baking or heating.
How can I prevent mold in the bread bin?
Only place completely cooled bread in the bread bin and make sure that not too much moisture collects inside. For particularly fresh or moist bread, it may help to open the bin briefly from time to time.
If mold should nevertheless form, please dispose of the affected food and clean the bread bin thoroughly. Then let it dry completely before using it again.
Our special tip: You can lightly spray the empty and clean bin with apple cider vinegar as a preventive measure or after mold has formed. Then let it air out and dry completely before putting bread in it again.
Cleaning & Care
To ensure you enjoy your myromy ceramics for a long time, here you will find practical tips on cleaning, drying, and storage, as well as how to deal with discoloration and signs of wear.
How do I clean my myromy product?
First, allow your myromy product to cool down completely after use. Then clean it with warm water, a little dish soap, and a soft sponge or brush.
For stubborn residues, you can soak the product briefly and then carefully brush them off. Please do not use metal scourers, steel wool, or sharp blades. Our myromy products can also be cleaned in the standard cycle of a dishwasher.
After cleaning, allow the ceramic to dry completely and never store products with lids damp or tightly sealed. For the bread freshness pot, it is particularly important to store the empty pot in a dry, well-ventilated place outside of a cupboard. Place the lid slightly askew so that air can circulate.
What can I do about grease stains or discolorations?
With the Signature Edition, the natural, open-pored clay surface remains visible on the outside. This allows the material to absorb grease or other liquids and develop an individual patina over time. These changes are part of the natural character of the ceramic and do not impair the function or safety of your product.
It is best to remove fresh residues promptly with warm water, a little washing-up liquid and a soft sponge. Stains that have already been absorbed may not be completely removed.
If you want to keep the surface even for as long as possible, it is best to avoid direct contact of the unglazed exterior with grease, oil and heavily staining foods. A clean base and promptly wiping away spilled liquids will help.
If you prefer a particularly even, easy-care look, our colored glazed variants can be a nice alternative.
What should I do if my myromy product has a crack?
In the case of our heat-resistant ceramic, if you notice a visible crack, you should precautionarily discontinue using the product. When heated, the damaged area may crack further, and in the worst case, the product may break.
The bread freshness pot is not subject to this thermal stress. Nevertheless, we recommend that you have the crack inspected by our service team β especially if it is continuous or affects the stability of the product.
Not every visible line is automatically a deep crack. Please send us some photos and your order number via our contact form. Our service team will personally review the case and work with you to find a suitable solution. In the event of a confirmed complaint, we will of course also arrange for a replacement.
